The Episcopal Church Women (ECW) is the fellowship of the women of St. James’ Church open to all women of the church. The ECW was founded in 1871 as an affiliate of the Episcopal Church to serve the Lord through worship, education, evangelism, pastoral care and service. St. James’ Church ECW celebrates all the contributions of those women who have come before and endeavors to perpetuate those accomplishments with meaningful service to the St. James’ community and to the community at large.
A variety of programs are offered throughout the year within St. James’ to bring the women of the church together to learn, to be entertained and to have fun! The women of St. James’ serve the church and the community by active participation in a variety of community organizations, some directed within the church and others affiliated with service organizations in the community.
We serve each other in friendship. Come join us! Our first meeting of the year will be held on Wednesday, April 7th
at 11:30 a.m. We will be meeting outside and ask each woman to bring a chair and her lunch. We have missed being together and this meeting will be a celebration of coming together after a few challenging months and to discuss the opportunities for future programs.
